Italian bathroom company Evit have a gorgeous range of bathroom splashback tiles – I’m really picky about tiles and can never find any that I like, but these jumped right out at me 🙂
I’m incredibly fussy when it comes to tiles – I just don’t often come across many that I could live with, but I really like these. Designed by Piero Fornasetti for Ceramica Bardelli, these were featured at the Milan Design Week this year.
These amazing pieces are made by artist Boris Bally, from discarded metal street signs. In his own words – ‘The materials employed here are gleaned from ten-foot-high, thirty thousand pound scrap piles. Each of these reflective pearls represents sifting through thousands of ordinary oyster shells. I extract the most important elements of these gems and match them to create exciting color and image combinations.’
I’m coveting these big time…. I’d love to have a go at DIY-ing those floor tiles…
